🎶 What does an ecosystem actually sound like? What hidden worlds of life become audible in an overgrown botanical garden - and how are we connected to them? We invite you to go on exciting sound journeys on the grounds of Wir bauen Zukunft.

After intensive research, sound recordings of the biotopes and audio productions, we will experience the species-rich flora and fauna in acoustic stories. The Biosphera audio tours open up hidden worlds of sound and narratives of various biotopes. Between greenhouse and permaculture garden, pond and forest, humus and meadow, we immerse ourselves in the exchange of trees and fungi, the communication of bats, birds and insects or in the wafting worlds of earth and underwater. The result is a connection to nature with an awareness of the diversity and complexity of our ecological environment. The focus is on ecological processes and their interactions in flora and fauna - as well as the question of how we as humans are connected to them.

The Biosphera audio tours are complemented by a comprehensive biological mapping of the site by the Naturforschende Gesellschaft Mecklenburg e.V. (Mecklenburg Nature Research Society). Over the course of a year, more than 1,800 species of plants, fungi and animals were documented. This data was incorporated into the design of the acoustic content and makes the biodiversity of the site not only visible but also audible.The tours are accessible via a new app (iOS & Android) and can be experienced individually on the site using headphones.
